Tjin Lee is the Managing Director and Founder of Mercury, an award-winning agency with two divisions – Mercury PR and Mercury Live – specialising in fashion, lifestyle and luxury industries.
In 2009, she founded the Audi Fashion Festival, known today as the Singapore Fashion Week, bringing in shows by international designers. Ms Lee started her career in fashion and luxury lifestyle as part of the marketing team of Club 21, Singapore’s leading fashion retailer.
In 2001, she decided to branch out on her own and started Mercury. Fashion is her passion and it drives everything she does. She is committed to building Singapore as a prestigious, world-class fashion destination, to bring about the internationalisation of Singapore designers and attract attention from buyers around the world and region, capturing international limelight for the city as Asia’s fashion capital.
In 2014, Tjin co-founded CRIB, a Singapore-based social enterprise that aims to empower women to become successful entrepreneurs through networking, matchmaking and business incubation.
A passionate entrepreneur, Tjin boasts directorship in nine local businesses, including Trehaus, Baby Style Icon, CRIB and Wolfgang Violin Studio. She was also the recipient of the inaugural SIngapore Tatler Young Achiever Leadership Award (2010). Tjin is mum to two young sons, Tyler and Jake.
