The Brief:
ION Orchard wanted a celebration event for its 10th Anniversary that was worthy of this iconic venue.
The Strategy:
We planned an event with two components – one for invited guests, and one for the public – to maximise awareness and publicity. The anniversary celebrations kicked off with a gala dinner at Salt Grill – featuring a watch and jewellery fashion installation as well as a performance by violinist, Josh Kua.
Bandaloop, world-renowned pioneers in vertical dance, presented their performance high above ground at level 55 in conjunction with the gala dinner.
An exclusive performance was specially commissioned for ION Orchard’s iconic façade and performed on the VIP & Media preview day, then subsequently for the public over the weekend.
The Outcome:
It was a successful celebration that was well-received by invited guests, the public, and ION Orchard management alike. In particular, the performance by Bandaloop received many accolades and generated maximum media buzz.
